The City Soil Project is imagined as a system designed to re-use, protect, and restore urban soil. Adopting permaculture practices such as rotational grazing and cover cropping, the system provides the infrastructure necessary to localize the processes surrounding soil use at a neighborhood scale. The City Soil Project explores an alternative understanding and respect for this vital resource, providing strategies for our profession and reforming a connection to what truly matters.
